Launch events can be an internal one at the office to inform the team about a new product and its benefits or it can be a huge one to generate public awareness and media buzz.

Generally, corporate events are gatherings organized or sponsored by a company for its employees, clients or business associates/contacts. Corporate events can be a large scale conference or a small get together, depending on the organizer’s budget, objective and guest list.

Some of the common types of corporate events include:
Seminars and conferences: These are held at seminar rooms or a special event venue with a targeted audience in mind. Seminars usually last a couple of hours while conferences typically have multiple sessions going on at the same time and can span one to two days or sometimes a week.
Team building events and company holidays: Also known as executive retreats, these are offered to employees as an added bonus or incentive to boost morale. Usually, team building or leisure activities are planned into the itinerary
Appreciation events: This type of event gives companies to build rapport with their employees or clients. Some popular appreciation events include gala dinners, cruises, golfing events and others.
Product Launches: Launch events can be an internal one at the office suite or meeting room to inform the team about a new product and its benefits or it can be a huge one to generate public awareness and media buzz. The latter are sometimes held as a big party at a glitzy event venue with celebrity guests, gala dinners, and special highlights.
